Securitas AB expands in Mexico, acquires Grupo Guardias Blancas
Dec 23, 2008 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) -- SCTBF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Swedish security services group Securitas AB (OMX Stockholm:SECU B) said on Tuesday (23 December) that it has agreed to acquire the Mexican security services provider Grupo Guardias Blancas for SEK16m.
Grupo Guardias Blancas specialises in providing security services for the tourism industry in the Quintana Roo, Yucatan and Guerrero states in southeastern Mexico. The group has 1,500 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK69m.
